Our classic glossy vinyl is proprietary—developed specifically to bond with our inks. Other factories have even asked to buy it, but it won’t work properly without the special ink system it was designed for. The ink and vinyl form a molecular bond, making the imprint scratch-proof for life. We’ve seen decades-old keychains—like an early Nike design we made—turn up in vintage shops still looking great. The glossy vinyl also has a retro vibe that can look classic or contemporary depending on the design.
The full-color vinyl is different, designed for industrial inkjet printing, and always has a white finish to ensure bright, crisp colors.

All classic vinyl keychains are cut fresh from vinyl sheets when ordered—not pulled from pre-cut stock—so your keychains are essentially brand new with every order.

Yes. Custom shapes are one of our most popular options, available in both classic and full-color vinyl. The two types are made differently:

• Classic vinyl is cut with a die—like a cookie cutter—which allows for tight, clean angles and sharp details.
• Full-color vinyl is cut with a small, fast jigsaw-like system, ideal for custom shapes but with slightly softer angles.

You’ll receive a proof before production. For very large orders, we can also send a photo of the die-cut shape and artwork printed on a rectangular piece of vinyl for approval before full production.

Classic vinyl comes in 11 solid colors and 6 translucent colors, plus 49 Pantone spot imprint colors for branding flexibility.

Pricing includes one imprint color on the front. We can print up to three colors per side (and two sides), for a total of six colors if desired. Additional colors or locations have a small charge per color/side.

No. Classic vinyl keychains use Pantone spot colors, not full-color printing. If you need a photo, gradient, or full-color image, choose the full-color vinyl keychains—that’s exactly why they were developed.

No. On classic vinyl, the imprint bonds with the vinyl at a molecular level, making it scratch-proof for life. We’ve seen vintage keychains decades later that still look great!

Pantone spot colors produce stronger, more vibrant colors—especially bold greens, oranges, and other hues that can look muted in standard CMYK printing. Spot colors are also crisper, making them ideal for clean logos or sharp-edged designs, particularly on vinyl where full-color printing isn’t as precise as high-end magazine offset style printing.

Yes, but the artwork will show faintly through to the other side. The translucent vinyl isn’t fully transparent—it’s more like looking through tinted glass or frosted candy, so designs on the opposite side are partially visible.

Yes. Prices include one imprint color on the front of the keychain. Additional colors or printing on the back are available for a small added charge.

Yes. Setup is free for standard one-color printing. A small setup fee applies only if you add extra colors or printing on the back.

For reorders, there’s no setup fee at all—as long as the artwork stays the same, whether it’s on one side or both.

Yes, we do this all the time! You can add or change text, update contact information, or replace the design entirely. If you’d like to keep the full existing front design, we can add your custom information on the back for a small additional charge.

Yes. Both classic and full-color vinyl keychains can be printed on both sides.

• Classic vinyl: Each side is treated as an additional location, with a small added charge per color used.
• Full-color vinyl: Printing on the back has a setup fee and an additional per‑unit charge.

Only the full-color vinyl keychains can be personalized, and only with numbers. This is done digitally during printing.

You can upload your artwork during checkout, or create it directly in our design tool for the shapes that can be designed online—your design will be automatically attached to your order.

Classic vinyl: Vector art (AI, EPS, or PDF) is preferred for the sharpest spot color printing.
Full-color vinyl: Vector art as above, and/or hHigh-resolution jpeg art (300 PPI at the keychain size) works best.

Plain text works perfectly and is a common choice. You can use existing artwork on the front and add contact information or other text to the back. We can also incorporate text into an existing design, like adding a phone number to a truck graphic or adding a logo to the back.

Yes, the minimum bulk order quantity for all of our existing shape vinyl keychains is 250. For custom shaped classic vinyl the minimum order quantity is 1000 units.

No, bulk orders need to meet the listed minimums. However, samples are available for purchase if you’d like to review the product quality first.

Yes. You can purchase existing samples on product pages to review quality, color, and overall feel before placing a bulk order.

We can send the base vinyl color you’re interested in, but it may be in a different shape unless it’s one of the most popular ones, like the house shape. With nearly three‑quarters of a million possible shape and color combinations, we focus on the most popular shapes for stocked samples.

If you’re considering a larger order, we can also create a spec sample of your exact design for a small charge, which can be applied to your full order.

For existing shapes standard vinyl keychains production time is 7 business days after you approve your proof. For a new custom shape, it is 12 business days.

Shipping time is additional. We ship from Ohio via FedEx, and you can choose the service that best fits your schedule—options range from Ground to faster services like 2Day and Priority Overnight.
