Safety Whistles

Our safety whistles are made from Series 9000 anodized aluminum. This high-quality alloy is lightweight, yet strong, and the anodized finish adds color while protecting the metal from wear, making them durable for daily use.

These are true safety whistles and are very loud—comparable to a typical safety or emergency whistle. The smaller whistle has a slightly higher pitch, which can actually make it sound louder and carry farther in some conditions.

They’re designed to be heard over long distances outdoors and are not recommended for use indoors.

Our custom engraved safety whistles are available in: Brilliant Blue, Royal Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Gold, Green, Silver and Black.

No. These engraved safety whistles are metal and engraved only—no color fill is added. The engraving is permanent, very sharp and etched directly into the anodized surface, so it won’t fade or scratch off.

Screen-printed safety whistles may allow for color, but the imprint is far more likely to scratch or wear off with use—you want engraved whistles for lasting quality.

If your artwork is in color, we can usually convert it for engraving at no extra charge.

No. The engraving is etched directly into the anodized surface of the whistles, making it essentially permanent. It won’t wear or rub off, even with daily use.

Laser engraving removes the anodized surface, exposing the natural aluminum underneath.

On colored finishes, this creates a bright, high-contrast marking. On silver, the engraving is more subtle—tone-on-tone, like a frosted effect on the metal, with a classic etched look. Gold offers more contrast than silver but not as much as deeper colors like blue or red. On all other colors, the contrast is high.

In every case, the engraving is crisp, permanent, and part of the metal itself—it won’t fade or rub off.

There’s a small additional setup fee and a per‑unit charge for engraving on both sides, making it an affordable way to essentially double your marketing space.
