Custom Engraved Bottle Openers FAQs
Product Details
What metal are the engraved bottle openers made of?
What metal are the engraved bottle openers made of?
Our engraved bottle openers are made from Series 9000 anodized aluminum. This high-quality alloy is lightweight, yet strong, and the anodized finish adds color while protecting the metal from wear, making them durable for daily use.
What colors can I choose?
What colors can I choose?
Our custom engraved bottle openers are available in: Brilliant Blue, Royal Blue, Purple, Red, Orange, Gold, Green, Silver and Black.
Can you put color on the engraved openers?
Can you put color on the engraved openers?
No. These engraved openers are metal and engraved only—no color fill is added. The engraving is permanent, very sharp and etched directly into the anodized surface, so it won’t fade or scratch off.
Screen-printed carabiners may allow for color, but the imprint is far more likely to scratch or wear off with use—you want engraved openers for lasting quality.
If your artwork is in color, we can usually convert it for engraving at no extra charge.
Will the engraving wear off?
Will the engraving wear off?
No. The engraving is etched directly into the anodized surface of the bottle openers, making it essentially permanent. It won’t wear or rub off, even with daily use.
What color is the engraving?
What color is the engraving?
Laser engraving removes the anodized surface, exposing the natural aluminum underneath.
On colored finishes, this creates a bright, high-contrast marking. On silver, the engraving is more subtle—tone-on-tone, like a frosted effect on the metal, with a classic etched look. Gold offers more contrast than silver but not as much as deeper colors like blue or red. On all other colors, the contrast is high.
In every case, the engraving is crisp, permanent, and part of the metal itself—it won’t fade or rub off.
