Chris Shetler is the founder of PromotionalKeychains.biz, a long-established online brand specializing in custom engraved, printed, struck, and cast promotional products.
With more than three decades of experience in design, marketing, and e-commerce, he’s built a business grounded in craftsmanship, technology, and strong professional relationships.
Chris’s career began in the 1990s after earning his BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He launched a freelance marketing studio focused on print media—just as computers were beginning to reshape the industry.
His curiosity about design, color, and how businesses connect with customers led him to web design, and eventually, in 2004, to create PromotionalKeychains.biz.
He values collaboration with employees and long-standing vendor partnerships as much as product innovation itself, believing those relationships are the real backbone of lasting success.
Today, he leads the company with a hands-on creative approach—overseeing everything from brand direction and technology integration to product photography and the continual refinement of process and presentation.
For Chris, persistence isn’t about endurance so much as presence—continuing to show up, solve problems, and think deeply about the business, even when he’s away from it. That consistency, paired with a team-first leadership style, has helped his company stay adaptable, trusted, and quietly resilient through decades of change.
